places I visited, people I met, and times I will never forget.

This book is segmented into 18 chapters, and each one giving you my perspective on various times and events that I shared with so many of my fellow pilots and cohorts. At times alone, at times working together, we laughed,

we cried, we drank, we fought, we loved, and we flew...and during all those amazing times, and in our own

ways we all helped to shape the aviation industry in Canada and in some remote areas around the world .

Here's a short excerpt from the book...

"I was an aviator for 44 years. I loved every second of those wonderful fun-filled

exciting years. There were many times that I got myself over my head in

precarious flight situations and conditions. This happens to every pilot at

some point in their careers. They either swim or sink. Those who sank did so

because they could not adapt themselves to the rapidly changing conditions or

situations into which they were suddenly thrust. Their demise served as a hard

lesson to those pilots who were left to ponder the mysteries of aviation.

The swimmers survived and learned valuable lessons from their mistakes.

Typically, they did not make the same mistake again.

They were the survivors who went onto be great and competent aviators.

The newbies would look up to them with great awe and respect.

These aviators are well seasoned perfectionists who always

strive to be better than they were in their previous flight. They never stop

learning and they never stop living. They will experience a few thunderstorms along

the way and they will enjoy the rainbow on the other side."
